General Improvements

CMYK Input Profiles New CYMK input profiles are added, that reflect new
industry CYMK standards addressing CMYK wide gamut.
The profiles are:
- eciCMYK (FOGRA53)
- PRMG_v2.0.1_MR
Image Import – PSD Files Import of PSD files is speeded up.
Media Background Simulation in Job This feature allows the user setting a background color or
texture for his job. This will give the user a better preview of
what is going to happen, when his job gets printed on a
colored or textured substrate afterwards. Please note that it
is called "Simulation" because it does not aim for preview
perfection or high color accuracy of the background color.
N-Color Printer Profiles When using printer profiles for 6 and more profile colors,
that have a very small gamut, output calculation for black
point compensation has been improved to get more vivid
colors. Switching back to the initial calculation used in older
Version 15 installation is possible on request.
PDF Color Management Option for disabling overprinting simulation is added.
PrintClient Configuration – Status The Status Monitor selection now is only available when the
Monitor Selection selected port type generally supports the communication
features that are needed for showing information in the
Status Monitor. Still, the printer must also support the
needed communication features when a Status Monitor is
selected.
Recovery of Legacy CMM Mode for ErgoSoft offers a new dropdown menu in the
PDFs PostScript/PDF Parameters which offers the PDF interpreter
to be chosen between the legacy mode and the default
mode.
The legacy mode can be used for PDFs to use the visually
based color replacement feature.

Contour Cutting – Mirroring in Print Issue with cut path creation for print environments with
Environments automatic mirroring (e.g. for transfer sublimation) is fixed.
Contour Cutting – Not Printing Spot Issue with disappearing objects when a spot color path for
Color Path contour cutting is configured for not being printed, is fixed.
HotFolder – Contour Cutting Issue with different settings for Contour Cutting in HotFolder
and active JobComposer is solved with a message in
HotFolder.
Image Import – PNG Files Issue with importing some PNG files is fixed.
Image Import – PSB Files Issue with importing some large PSB files is fixed.
Image Property – Image AddOn QRCode Issue with using the Image AddOn QRCode is fixed.
Image Property – Replace Spot Color Issue with not replacing the color properly when the
replacement color is selected from the Named Colors list, is
fixed.
Image Property – Step&Repeat Issue with some PDF files with complex transparencies is
fixed.
ImagePreset – EPS Color Management Issue with using incorrect color management settings is
fixed.
